ALL THE WAY, HOME
Stephen Chestnut was a member of Recon Platoon during 1966 and 1967.  As a member of Recon, he was with a LRRP team that made the initial contact at the Battle of 506 Valley on December 17, 1966.  He and his LRRP team were also on LZ Bird on December 27, 1966 when it was attacked by two Battalions of NVA.
Good pictures Stephen.  We thank you.
