ALL THE WAY, HOME
Return to Photo Index
Our Brother-in-Arms, Danny Maguire, was KIA on 11 December 1967 in the engagement known as the Battle of Tam Quan. (See Fire Fights page).  We have the privilege of viewing this material about Danny Maguire because his nephew, Danny Walsh, sent it to us. Danny Walsh  was named after his uncle Danny Maquire .  It gives us all a rare insight into the letters of condolence sent by all levels of the army, and reminds us of the agony that families endured as a result of their sons violent death.   Thanks Danny for keeping the memory of your uncle alive.
