Kirk Knight was one of the "original" Delta Company members, who deployed to Vietnam on the USS Geiger in 1965.   He was in the Mortar Platoon.  He did a second tour with Co. B, 2/327 Inf, 101st ABD and Co. E (LRP), 20th Inf (Abn) in 1967-68. He was commissioned from Infantry OCS in 1969 and did a third (!) tour as a O1 pilot in 1971-72. Kirk retired as a COL in 1999. Since 2002, he has been a DOD civilian at U.S. Special Operations Command. Thanks for sending the great photos Kirk.
