Comment by Ken Goff (medic) who provided these pictures

"This is the site, right by the log is where Steve Dolim was wounded, he died the next day. There are a series of photos here showing when we were hit by mortars at night. I believe about 11 wounded including Dolim who died. Kent was also wounded that night. Dolim was Kirby's RTO but Kirby had left by then.

There was a picture of me taken the next morning.  I was covered with Dolim's blood. It was a very difficult couple of days for me.

The previous day we needed to evacuate another wounded up by rope to the chopper. I think there are photos of that somewhere. It was June 6th,  1968. I was looking for his name on the roster, I thought it was Bellamy, but cannot find. He was the point man that day. I crawled out under fire, found him shot several times, patched him up out there and started to drag him back and Marshall Crowder came to assist. Jamie Swidecki was involved in this too. Kent put me in for the bronze with v that day."
