Most of the names on this roster were provided by Fred MacLennan who has done extensive research. Many of the names are from General Orders found at the National Archives and obtained by Fred in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
THE RANK SHOWN HAPPENS TO BE WHAT WAS ON THE ORDERS. MOST ENLISTED MEN SHOWN AS E-2 OR E-3 WERE SP4 BY THE TIME THEY LEFT VIETNAM. MANY OF THE NCO'S AND OFFICERS WERE ALSO PROMOTED DURING THEIR TOUR. * In many cases the exact time of of someone's tour can not be determined by General Orders. For example, a name may be included in early 1969 when actually they were present also in late 1969. Therefore, check both rosters, middle period and late period, for names especially in cross-over years like 1969.
